Thank you for visiting my site today.
It has been a while since I last posted an update. It is unbelievable how quickly time goes by.
A lot has happened since my last post, mostly good things I am happy to say.
My Grandson turned one (1) last month and my Granddaughter turns four (4) next month. They are both angels. And...I have another one on the way. My Granddaughter is going to be a big sister.
My Granddaughter loves to call Grandma, text Grandma, and FaceTime Grandma. You can bet Grandma eats it up. I love that little girl so much.
Okay, back to work. :)
I am really trying hard to get my act in gear and be more consistent with posting to my blog and sharing my thoughts with you all.
I submitted my application to Heartfelt Creations to be considered for their 2019 Design Team. I need to get my entries posted on my blog asap. I am proud of my entries and really want to be a part of their design team. I love their products. The quality of the paper and I really love how every single paper collection ties together in some way or another. So watch for a blog update tomorrow. I am finalizing the pictures and the order in which I want to post them along with the description of each picture. There are so many more to show other than just one or two that I submitted with my application. I love the details.
Well, time to get some zzzzzzz’s in order to be somewhat rested for another day of work tomorrow.
Thank you so much for visiting. Feel free to sign my guest book.
Oh, I also recorded a short video of a mini album I made my Cousin’s for their new baby using the #heartfeltcreations a flip fold album and various pocket and flipfold inserts.
Let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.
November 23, 2018
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
My husband and I spent it quietly at home with our two dogs.
I am gearing up for a craft/yard sale on Saturday, December 1st. I am hoping that it won’t rain because people do not like coming out in the rain. Although I will be having the sale rain or shine as I will be hosting it under my carport. I am still working on some cards and need to finish the Christmas cards still. Not just for the sale, but also for my family.
Take care everyone and have a blessed day.
Yes, it has been awhile since my last post.
Life is busy, but good.
I have two grandchildren now, whom I just adore. My granddaughter is three (3) and I have a seven (7) month old grandson.
My husband and I celebrated our 4 year Anniversary last month. Time sure does fly by. And I think that the older I get the faster it goes.
Mom has been gone a year now, and it still hurts. I miss her terribly.
Until next time...
I am sorry that I have not gotten better at this. It is has been quite an eventful year.
I spent a lot of time visiting with my Mother in West Virginia while I had the chance. She lost her battle with lung cancer in June 2017. I am totally baffled how someone who never smoked a day in her life can get lung cancer.
I also got to spend some time visiting with my siblings and their families.
I have also been dealing with wrist and elbow problems and recently had surgery on my left wrist and elbow. Unfortunately, it has put a stop to a lot of the things I can do. Which also means that I will be home for a while. So, when the left one has healed enough, I will get the right wrist and elbow done. I am thinking that therapy will be painful, but totally necessary and am actually looking forward to it.
This will be my last semester of school for a while. I will need to give my hands and elbows plenty if time to heal over the next several months. Wish me luck. :)
I have been watching a lot of videos on YouTube lately and found one channel I really like. I have tried the spoon and they came out pretty good. The channel is by #OneVeryHappyBird. I just love her videos. Once you watch them and get the supplies you need, the spoon project goes by really quickly. And, I can do it with one hand. Yay!
I want to try the Christmas Ornaments, and even bought the glitter paper. But due to not being able to use my left hand right now, I cannot use a hole punch. Grrrr, I need both hands to do it. Although, I am thinking of having my husband bring my cricket out to the kitchen table and see what shapes I have and cut them out that way. I only need one hand for that once the machine is set in place. I will let you know.
I do not now if anyone actually reads my postings, but if you do, I really appreciate you. Yes, I know I am terrible at this, and life has gotten in the way, but I am really going to get better at this. I also have some projects I have completed, although they have taken a while, but I would like to share them.
I have also recently watched the movie Julie and Julia. I love that movie. Though cooking is not my forte, crafting is. Though I don't think that I would be able to do a craft a day, but I would like to do a project similar to that, but have it involve finishing some of the many kits I have purchased over the years and still have not completed.
Thank you for visiting and Happy Crafting!
I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted on my website. I have been busy with school and work. I have been busy creating as well, but not as much as I would like to.
I have opened an Esty shop (MarylinsCraftyCorner) and am in the process of adding items for sale. I am going to try really hard to keep up with this and keep my shop fresh.
If there is something that you like or would like to see in a certain color, just let me know.
Thank you for visiting and Happy Crafting!
I can't believe how fast time has flown by and that it has been almost a year since my last post. I am so sorry for that.
School and work has been keeping me busy along with a lot of other projects.
I made my very first Halloween mini album using the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities series of paper. It is absolutely gorgeous paper. I will be using it to put pictures of my granddaughter in as she dresses up each year. She is 7 months old and I'm sure that my daughter will dress her up as this will be her first Halloween. I will be working on a short video to show it to you all. I also used the metal skeleton charm from Marion Smith Designs. It was perfect for this project. I will name what I used when making the video. I will post it in my blog section.
I do have several pictures of finished projects that I need t get on here...there are just not enough hours in the day.
I would really love to hear from you. Send me note by clicking on 'Contact Me' located on the right. I would also love it if you signed my guest book.
I really need to get better at this.
Thank you for visiting and happy crafting.
It has been a busy summer for me this year. I spent the end of June and the beginning of July in CT for my sister's wedding. I got married to the love of my life at the end of July and back to school in August.
I was busy leading up to my sister's wedding as I helped with the making of the signs for her yard along with her jewelry and headband.
I also found out that I am going to be a grandma in March 2015. I'm so excited. I got both of my serviced and am ready to go. I told my daughter to hold on, because once she tells me what she's having I am going to break out the baby clothes patterns and start making her some baby clothes. I can hardly wait.
I do have a Pinterest
page, come and join me. Watch out for visual overload. I have to limit myself. There is so much to see, just be prepared. :)
Sorry so brief, but need to get back to homework. I am getting closer and am really looking forward to being done.
Thank you for visiting.
Hope all is going well in your world. Mine is keeping me busy. I can't believe it is already April and another birthday has passed for me. I have already started about what I'm going to make for my family for Christmas. It takes time to hand make things, so now is the time to start and begin working on each project. I really like to do them one at at time so that I give each one my full attention.
Thank you visiting and ,
Already the end of February. It seems this year may fly by as quickly as 2013 did. There is so much to do and not enough time to do it in.
I have purchased some new kits and would love to on them all, but am unable to do too much crafting right now due to my current work and . I am getting so close to graduation, I have to stay focused. My goal is to at the end of next school year, which is May 2015. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I have uploaded some new pictures of some of the projects I've this past year.
Thank you for visiting.
Happy 2014 Everyone,
I can't believe it is already January 2014 and the month has a week left. Feeling a bit under the weather today so I thought I would take a quick moment to update my welcome page.
I have been extremely busy with and working on projects in between. Sometimes I have found it difficult to do both and go into crafty withdrawals. :)
I have recently taken up making duck tape wallets which is extremely fun. There are a number of great tutorials on YouTube you can follow. I have also created a few of my own by combining some of the techniques I've seen. I really like the zipper pouches. I will post some pictures of them as well when I get the loaded on .
I hope you all are having a good to the new year and wish you may you be able to craft as much as you would like.
I also discovered Marion Smith Designs and just her! She gives awesome tutorials and I have made a few of her journals. The coptic stitch is awesome! It looks like a real book. I made one for my sister. I will post some pictures so you can see it. It turned out very cute. I think I love roses as much as Marion does. You should check her out...
I also made a for my brother and his wife using the technique where you make the whole book. I really had fun.
School is back in session and the holiday break seemed to fly by. As did the year of 2013.
Take care everyone and Happy Crafting!
Hello Everyone, Happy November
I am looking forward to the . What about you?
I already have a few gifts done and am currently working on a few more. I can't say what they are in the event my family may read this from time to time. I will post the pictures after Christmas of the projects I made for my family members.
I can't believe that it is November already. Where did this year go?! Almost time to another one.
For those of you who observe , it is time to turn the clocks back already. Make sure you turn them back Saturday night in the event you have someplace you need to be on Sunday morning. :)
I am working some things and will get the pictures posted soon.
I am looking forward to the holiday break. Not just from work, but also from school.
Thank you for visiting and come back again soon to see what's new.
Hello Everyone, Happy 2013!
I am still working on my goal of completing project kits that I already have, but I admit, I've bought some new ones. I just can't resist. One of my weaknesses are Mill Hill Kits. I just them! :)
I have been beading for about 9 years or so now and still can't get enough of it. If I could do it all the time I would be in heaven. I also enjoy doing other types of crafts. I often take bead at Bella Bead in Fresno. The ladies in that store are AWESOME! Can you hear my voice, kind of singing the word awesome? They are the best, I love that store. What makes it even better is when you go in, if you need their help, they make you feel like you are the only customer in there. Deb is the instructor, and another awesome person. So patient and kind. She is a great teacher.
Another awesome bead store in Fresno is Jewelart. The staff in there are very helpful and always have great tips. They are always willing to help you find what your are looking for. They have a lot more and the prices are very affordaable.
Who likes scrapbooking and making cards? I do, I do! As I raise my hand in the air waiting for the teacher to call on me because I just know I have the right answer kind of wave. Well, I purchased a cricket machine about a year ago and have only used it once. That is very sad. I used it in the process of making my cousin a for her newborn son last June (2012). Again, that is just sad. As I lower my head as if saying a . If you are a local visitor, send me a message, maybe we can set up a craft workshop at the local Starbucks or something. We can swap ideas and supplies. Let me know...
Do you have any great ideas and/or tips you would like to share? Hit me up, I'll make a new Ideas & Tips page. I would also love to see some of your work.
I am in the process, really I am, of putting kits together to make bracelets, necklaces, etc. I just have to get my act together and put them in bags, take pictures, and get them up here. :) If there is something in particular you would like me to offer, let me know. I just may have it already...
Let me know what you like or have questions about. If I don't know the answer, I will find it for you and let you know. You can reach me through the section.

Thank you again for visiting.
Come back often to see what's new.
I look forward to hearing from you!
